How to make healthy fruit cake

Cakes are considered to be junk foods as they contain too much calorie. But not all cakes are junk foods. Some cakes like fruit cake are healthy enough to feed a heart patient. But fruit cakes that are available in the market are not healthy enough. So today, I'm going to write how to make a healthy fruit cake.


Ingredients

1. 225 ml tea(hot)
2. 1 egg
3. 100-gram light brown sugar
4. 300 gram mixed dried berries and cherries
5. 50-gram butter
6. 225-gram flour
7. 4 tablespoons normal sugar
8. 70 ml orange juice + zest


Process

Collect the dried food in a bowl and pour the hot tea, orange juice and zest in that. Cover that and leave it for at least 4 hours and if possible keep it overnight.

After that, mix the butter and brown sugar in a bowl and beat that in beat machine until it becomes creamy. Then add egg and then flour in the beating process. Pour the mixture in a tin or anything in which you want to make the cake. Then sprinkle some sugar on the surface.

Last step, bake the cake in the oven for about an hour or until the skewers come out from the center of the surface cleanly. When baking is complete, take out the tin out of the oven and leave it to cool for some time. When it becomes cool, take a knife and cut the cake into pieces.
