Foods that can reduce asthma risk

Asthma is a very well known diseases in those countries in which, whether changes few times a year. Especially, the south-east part of Asia is mostly affected by this diseases. An asthma attack shows up when the circulation of air in lungs is discontinued or perhaps lessened resulting from any reason. Air pollution, dirt, allergy or any kind of diseases linked to lungs can potentially cause an asthma attack and these can cause cough, difficulties in breathing or chest heaviness.



An asthma attack can cause serious harm to the lung as well as to the body. Though there are a lot of treatment of asthma all around the world, there are some home treatments too. Consuming some beneficial foods can prevent asthma by an extended limit. Here are some foods that can prevent asthma.

1. Ginger

Medicines of asthma loose the respiratory muscles. Ginger is a great remedy for asthma patients. Different types of prevention can be done with ginger.
* Mix ginger juice, pomegranate juice and honey in a bowl. Take 2-3 tablespoon of this mixture.
* Mix some ginger pastes in one and a half cup of water. Take 1 tablespoon before going to bed.
* Take a one-inch tall ginger, chop it in small pieces and put it in boiling water for 5 minutes. Take this whenever you want.
* Besides, raw ginger with salt also helps.

2. Mustard Oil

Liniment after asthma feels great. Mix mustard oil with camphor and warm water. When the temperature is tolerable, liniment it on the patient's back and chest. Linimenting few times a day reduces pain.

3. Figs

Figs play an unrivaled role in reducing shortness of breathing and keeping respiratory health. Put 3 figs in water for the whole night. At the morning, take both the water and the figs in empty stomach. Keeping this habit for 2 months, will reduce the risk of an asthma attack.

4. Garlic

Garlic reduces the phlegm and the asthma pain.
* Take 10-15 pieces of garlic chops and boil it with milk. Take this twice a day.
* Garlic tea is also quite helpful.

5. Caffeine

Caffeine is a great medicine for the asthma patients. The harder or stronger coffee you take, the better result you will get. But don't take coffee more than thrice a day.

6. Eucalyptus oil

Eucalyptus oil contains a chemical substance named eucalyptol reduces phlegm. Take some oil in a towel and keep it close to you while sleeping. Due to this, the substance will enter into your lungs with your breath. Besides, steaming with oil mixed warm water, can give you a better result.
