Increase your height by just changing some habits

The majority of us are now suffering from inferiority complex due to their insufficient height. Especially then, when someone tall stands right beside him/her. A long breath comes out automatically. Some people say that height is a matter of genetic reason. That means if you will grow taller only if your parents are taller. But this fact is partially true. The genetic reason is a major thing in growing taller. But aside from this, there are many reasons behind a person's height. I'm not saying this. This is tested by the health specialists.


Experts say that 80% of our height is caused by genetic reason and the rest is affected by the environment, food, movement, sleep and our daily activities. So if you can control these things, you can gain up to 4 inches of height. But that depends on how much you work hard as well as the environment in which you live in. Let's take a look at the habits that you should change in order to grow taller.

1. Enough rest and sleep

We all know that when we sleep, our brain produces and releases growth hormone and the task is done by the pituitary gland which is situated at the bottom middle of our brain. This growth hormone known as HGH (Human Growth Hormone) makes the bodybuilding tissues work and due to which, our body grows taller. The HGH increases bone height till 17-18 years. So in order to grow taller, you have to sleep more. Get a 7-9 hours sleep. Don't get into the misunderstanding that sleeping more will make you taller. Sleeping more will produce more HGH indeed but sleeping more than 9 hours, will make the liver unhealthy and fatty and the growth hormone passes through the liver before spreading all over the body. So it is very important to keep the liver healthy and sleeping more will make the liver unhealthy. So don't sleep more than 9 hours and if you sleep less than 7 hours, your brain won't able to produce enough hormone.

2. Regular exercise and sports

People who play regularly and possess a well-shaped body from his/ her childhood, have more growth rate than the others. Besides, swimming, aerobics, tennis, cricket, football, basketball as well as hanging and different types of stretching exercise help in getting more height. Especially the swimming, hanging, basketball and stretching help the most. Because people who do these much from childhood, take more food and nutrients in a large quantity. By this, the both thing matters.

3. Yoga

Yoga is a very well-known method in the field of gaining height. Yoga boosts the growth hormone production when we are asleep. I already told about the growth hormone. Triangle pose, cobra pose, mountain pose, pleasant pose and tree pose are the most effective exercises to gain height.

4. Correct body posture

Keeping the neck and spine straight while walking and sitting and not bending the spine too much while too much help a lot in growing taller. Keeping the spine parallel while sleeping and doing other relaxation activities help by some extend to grow taller.

5. Balanced diet

Balanced diet plays a vital role in growing taller. Nutritious and healthy food boosts the bone and muscle growth. Vitamin D Increases growth hormone production, calcium builds bone and makes it stronger. Magnesium, phosphorous and carbohydrate helps in building and growing cells. Besides, the food digestion and reaching the nutrients to the cells also helps in growing taller. So take a balanced diet.

6. Avoid activities that are obstacles in growth

Junk food, saturated fats, carbonated drinks, extra sugar etc. are one of those foods that can affect your growth negatively. Besides, smoking, taking alcohol, not sleeping at night have negative aspects in producing growth hormone. If parents are addicted to such things, the children can also be affected by these. So be careful about this.
